I keep thinking about the voluntary labor that is likely behind the assembly and maintenance of important websites like this, about the realization that such forms of care are necessary, and about a next moment when the work becomes too overwhelming for volunteer laborers to continue, or at least not to continue without creating a few systems or categories or multi-tasking processes that allow them to maintain it.
